Sometimes it’s a baggie of hope passed from one hand to another. Sometimes it’s a tip that feels like provision, or a donation that fuels the mission forward.

As an Uber driver on assignment, I don’t just transport people. We activate each other. They share their lives. I share mine. And somewhere between pickup and drop-off, something shifts.
